Image files can be burned to CD and DVD in a few steps with the great free product called ImgBurn. This lightweight application operates under several modes including read, write, verify, build and discovery. ImgBurn supports a myriad of file formats including BIN, CUE, DI, DVD, GI, IMG, ISO, MDS, NRG and PDI. This software will run on all versions of the Windows family including 64-bit platforms.
Some features included inside ImgBurn are:
- Burn music CD’s from the most common audio file types.
- Build DVD’s, HD-DVD’s and Blu-Ray discs with ease.
- Unicode support for international character sets.
- Image queue system for burning several images over multiple drives.
- Automatic write speed feature for storing your favorite burn settings.
Most files these days transferred over the Internet are image files, and this software will allow you to burn them directly to disc easily. It is a great application that everyone should have in their toolkit.

So far I’ve only used it to make a copy of a DVD using only one drive. It created the image really quick and burnt it quick as well, so I was pleased.
The interface is very easy to understand and use, and everything is straight-forward in the design. I definitely rate this application very highly.
